Distributed in Western Atlantic and probably Eastern Atlantic. Indo-Pacific species refer to Aetobatus ocellatus while Eastern Pacific species refers to A. laticeps. Set FAO areas to 21, 31, 34, 41, 47. Bounding box changed from 43°N/32°S/115°W/154°W to 36°N/24°S/98°W/15°E. Preferred maximum depth increasedfrom 41m to 60. Minimum sea surface temperature increaseed from 19.4°C to 22°C to exclude predicted occurrences north of Mauritania. (Kathleen K. Reyes, 2023-10-17)
